Journal - Day 26 of January 2018 Whole30
Breakfast: Leftover root vegetables, 2 hard boiled eggs, guacamole.
Lunch: Cold ginger chicken on romaine lettuce.
Dinner: Leftover kalua pig and cabbage, side of leftover root veggies.
Energy: 7
Sleep Quality: 5
Cravings: 5
I went to bed late last night, about midnight, yet I woke up about 15 minutes earlier than usual. That was so nice to have a little extra time rather than clock watching and rushing out. Energy-wise I felt OK, so that was nice. I am trying to remember that it's so nice to have even energy, even moods (I really am less rage-y) so that I don't fall off the wagon once reintroduction is done. I am so grateful that I decided to invest in a Whole30 coach, I think that's what really help kept me accountable and helped me with questions. The group is wonderful too. I also need to be better about journaling, I have slacked the past two weekends, leaving me about 4 days to catch up on (thus the little dates on the ends of the pages). I won't extend my Whole30, but I am thinking of doing another one, maybe in March or April after trying keto for a bit. I know I can be a bit neurotic about weighing, measuring and calculating, so Whole30 was a nice break from that, but I can tell I haven't lost much weight (if any), so a more calorie restrictive diet is probably best for me. I will have to plan differently since I am actually seeing my trainer now, but that is for after day 40.
